Requirements
- Property must pass Home Inspection, HQS and Lead & Termite Test
- Grants are need-based and funding availability
- Must complete Homebuyer Readiness Training Program
- Must attend homeownership counseling
- Must be referred by HABC Homeownership Program Assistants
- Application and supporting documents required
Scattered Sites Matching Grant
The Scattered Sites Matching Grant program provides Scattered-Sites residents with a matching grant of up to $5000 towards down payment and closing costs when purchasing their current residence.
Public Housing Down Payment & Closing Cost Assistance
Public Housing residents who have completed Homebuyer Readiness and are seeking to purchase a property in the private market (Baltimore City & Baltimore County) are eligible for up to $10,000 in Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance.
