EXTENSION OF THE APPLICATION PERIOD

SENIOR PROJECT BASED WAITING LIST
FOR THE HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM
On Monday, October 5, 2020 the Housing Authority of Baltimore City(“HABC”) began accepting online preliminary applications from persons who are interested in leasing one-bedroom units in properties that are subsidized with project-based vouchers and that house only seniors (62 and older). HABC has extended the deadline to apply for these vouchers through June 30, 2023.
Applicants must be SIXTY-TWO (62) years of age or older and qualify for a one-bedroom unit.

HABC will be accepting online preliminary applications for these units only until JUNE 30, 2023. If you are interested you must complete a preliminary application ONLINE ONLY no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023.

If you have an email address, you will receive a confirmation email that your Pre-Application Form has been received after you have successfully submitted the online Pre-Application Form. Once HABC receives your online Pre-Application, you will be added to the Senior Project Based waiting list if you meet the age and bedroom size requirements.
When your application reaches the top of the Senior Project Based waiting list, the Site that has an available unit and the HCVP office will contact you for an eligibility determination.
