Cherry Hill Housing Master Plan

Welcome to HABC's Cherry Hill Homes Housing Master Plan! We pride ourselves on public-private partnerships and this is a hallmark of the work that we do. Working together to provide equitable resources and affordable housing for all that we serve.

The Housing Master Plan is an expansion of the Housing Component and Goals of the 2020 Cherry Hill Transformation Plan. The goal of the Housing Master Plan process is to produce an actionable formal plan for bringing the community's Transformational housing goals to fruition.

The 2020 Cherry Hill Transformation Plan was created by community stakeholders and residents. HABC was one of numerous entities that contributed time and financing to the process for drafting the Transformation Plan. After decades of community self-organizing, Cherry Hill Strong (CHS) was formally created with the intention of making the Transformation plan a reality. Since CHS’s inception it has worked relentlessly to bring the Transformation Plan to life.

In the Spring of 2024, CHS received designation as a Purpose-Built Community. The Housing Master Plan will be a collaboration by HABC, CHS, residents, and other community stakeholders to advance the transformational goals of the community in redeveloping HABC property.

Together with Cherry Hill Strong (CHS) , we’re launching a process to develop a comprehensive plan for Cherry Hill Homes that builds upon the community conversations to date with the Cherry Hill community.
