Recently the Housing Authority of Baltimore City held Poe Day, an event designed to introduce residents to their new management team now that HABC has assumed management of the site. Previously, a private management company had managed the development until now.
Residents gathered at the Mutry Auditorium where they familiarized themselves with important information related to aspects of their tenancy. While there, participating families enjoyed a live DJ and were served a hot lunch, with the freshest ingredients, from Mission BBQ! Organized activities on the basketball court for the children included face painting and arts and crafts!
HABC’s Office of Resident Services collaborated with partner agencies who set up tables and provided supportive and useful information to residents. Thank you, Poe Homes residents. We enjoyed sharing the day with you!
