Residents and Stakeholders had the opportunity to discuss their Visioning for Poe Homes in a Community meeting held Tuesday, August 27th.
Images were viewed and options discussed for the community amenities (outdoor and indoor) that the residents would most like to see in the neighborhood.
An important aspect of the meeting were the responses to what services/supports would most help the families improve their community including affordable childcare, financial literacy, youth programs among many others suggested.
The group determined which issues should be top priority for the Transformation Plan – housing, education, retail, health services, recreational facilities, crime and safety among others.

About the Housing Authority of Baltimore City’s Strategic Plan: Pathways to Success is HABC’s first strategic plan.
