The Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) is committed to building better communities and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve. As the COVID-19 pandemic has created a state of emergency across the nation, it is clearer now than ever how critical it is to have safe and affordable housing. The HABC team has been working hard to implement new efforts and protocols in response to the COVID-19 crisis to protect the well-being of our staff and residents. Even as we respond to this pandemic, we have been able to adjust and continue our operations, and we have not lost sight of our mission.
The attached 2019 Accomplishments Report highlights some of our key initiatives that have helped bring HABC’s mission, vision and goals to life. This report is usually published earlier in the year, but current circumstances caused it to be delayed. During these unprecedented and uncertain times, it’s important to take a moment to reflect, and I’m proud to present you with HABC’s achievements from the last year. Thank you to everyone who plays a role in our work.
I hope reading this report brings a little bit of good news to your day.
