This is an attempt by the Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) to contact the former residents of Somerset Homes. Somerset Homes was a family development comprised of 257 dwelling units located in the Hopkins Middle East Neighborhood. The site was approved for demolition by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on December 6, 2007.

The vacant land where Somerset Homes was located will be integrated into the Perkins Somerset Oldtown (PSO) Transformation Plan. The Plan calls for 417 market-rate houses, 652 very low-income houses to replace the ones at Perkins Homes, and 276 subsidized units. The Plan also includes a new school and two new central parks.

As a former resident of Somerset Homes you may have a right to return to a brand new home within the PSO Transformation development site. If you lived at Somerset Homes between May 2006 and December 2008, and you are interested in returning to the newly developed site, please contact Ms. Sherry Rhue at 410-545-3228.
